Welcome to the website of the FluResearchNet, a nationwide network to study the virulence and zoonotic potential of influenza viruses.

The goal of the FluResearchNet consortium is to integrate all national expertises from basic and clinical virology as well as veterinary medicine for investigation of the zoonotic potential of influenza A virus in a network. The activities of the network are aimed to fight the burden of influenza epidemics in humans and animals to reduce the risk of future pandemic outbreaks. The network comprises twelve projects.
