In remembrance of people who donated their bodies to the Univerversity of Münster Medical School, together with the hospital chaplains (Pastor Frank Neuman, Deacon Jürgen Wiltink) and our second-year medical students we annually organize a commemoration ceremony for our body donors. The event includes readings of scripture, personal reflections, poetry, and musical performances by medical students and chaplains. The ceremony and funeral usually takes place in May/June of each year at the Forest Cemetery Lauheide near Münster with students, faculty, dignitaries, and most importantly, the loved ones of the deceased in attendance.
