Following my studies in Biology, I obtained my doctorate (Dr. rer. mec.) from the Peadiatric Clinic, University Hospital Muenster, within the working group of Prof. Dr K. P. Zimmer, with the topic “Defects of intracellular protein transport and their significance for the pathogenesis of hereditary metabolic diseases with special reference to Gaucher`s Disease". Since October 2009, I am a member of the working group from Prof. Schnittler of the Institute of Anatomy and Vascular Biology.
