Analysis of STARR-seq data (cooperation with Institute of Molecular Tumor Biology)
The STARR-seq technique (self-transcribing active regulatory region sequencing) was developed in 2013 and allows in large scale to identify and quantify regions of non-coding DNA, which function as Enhancers. Since there is still no established standard method, an individual analysis of single datasets with spezial emphasis on the plausibility of the method and the development of more extensive algorithms is necessary.
In Cooperation with the Institute of Molecular Tumor Biology we deal with single STARR-seq datasets as well as with the generel structure and the analysis techniques of these data. We also are interested in analysis of STARR-seq data associated with Chip-seq data.
