With the collaboration of the Competence Center Pruritus of the Department of Dermatology of the University Hospital Münster, we develop standards for the structured documentation of clinical data for pruritus. These data shall lead to a national standard from which data then can be used for further research and a comprehensive analysis. For this purpose we strive for a web based research database for the standardized data input and reporting. Ideally, the input can be carried out in the local HIS from which the data then can be transferred automatically into the research database.
