Participating laboratories will receive a range of samples to test their extraction efficiencies. Four samples will be extracted by the laboratory using standard DNA extraction methods. Participating laboratories will then quantify the DNA extracts alongside the two quantification controls provided by TrACE.

Participants will receive a certificate of participation. A summary of all results will be made available so that the laboratory can assess its own performance.
