7. Voltage-gated Na+ channels (NaV) and metastatic potential of PDAC
Partner 7 (ICL):
The project "Voltage-gated Na+ channels (NaV) and metastatic potential of PDAC" led by Mustafa B.A. Djamgoz tests the hypothesis that metastatic potential is associated with membrane excitability resulting from upregulation of NaV (and concomitant downregulation of KV). Particular emphasis will be placed upon possible expression of oncofetal splice variants of NaV(s) expressed.
