Joint Meeting of the Co-Operations from Münster and Enschede
A delegation of medical staff from various specialist departments at the UKM visited the cooperation partner in Enschede - including PD Dr Dr Schulze for an exchange of experiences on the topic of 3D printing at the point of care, an area in which we would like to work more closely together in the future.
Learning and benefiting from each other - the cooperation between Medisch Spectrum Twente (MST), the UKM and the Universities of Münster and Twente is set to benefit healthcare over the next five years.
In order to better explore the possibilities of cooperation, a delegation of medical staff from various specialist departments at the UKM visited Enschede on Monday as part of the UKM's 360° strategy. They visited departments of the MST on site and exchanged ideas with teams from the same specialist department during a joint speed dating session. The meeting focused in particular on the topics of training and further education, cross-border data exchange, financing, digitalisation and outpatient care.
The German-Dutch border region is home to numerous specialities and healthcare facilities with a high level of expertise and training. Both hospitals will face the same challenges in the healthcare sector in the coming years. The cooperation, which is partly supported by the Interreg programme Germany-Netherlands with its programme partners and co-financed by the EU, has been positively received on both sides and a further exchange together with the 360° team of the UKM International staff unit is already planned for the future.
