FeatureCloud is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project with eight partner organizations in Europe. The project aims to make medicine big data-capable without endangering patients' privacy.

The platform enables physicians to use primary medical data for research purposes, provides scientists with global access to research results, and helps to better understand diseases and accelerate the development of new treatments. At the same time, patients retain full control over their data.

The FeatureCloud App Store offers everyone the opportunity to use customized biomedical data analysis apps. The platform combines intuitive project management with user-friendly apps that display complex machine learning algorithms. It also makes it easier to assemble analysis pipelines for datasets located in different geographical locations. External developers can also put their own machine learning apps on the App Store. Every published app is tested and certified by the FeatureCloud team for functionality, security and privacy compliance.
