ISOB – In silico identification and optimization platform for biologics

The project “ISOB – In silico identification and optimization platform for biologics” is a research and development project that is funded as part of the ZIM funding program (Central Innovation Program for SMEs) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
The main goal is to develop an AI-based platform for computer-aided drug optimization for biological therapeutics (Biologics). The system should be able to identify new active ingredients and optimize their properties using machine learning (ML) and in silico models. This is done through a combination of biophysical measurement data and digital models that are integrated into cloud-based software.
The ISOB project has the potential to significantly improve drug discovery through the use of AI. The planned platform could accelerate the development of new biologics and help bring innovative therapeutics to market more efficiently and cost-effectively.
