From September 23 to 27, 2024, we had the honor of hosting the annual congress of our international society, the European Society of Swallowing Disorders (ESSD), in Münster. This year's theme, "From bench to bedside," aimed to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice, while fostering an environment for professional exchange and collaboration.
As part of the hands-on pre-congress courses, participants had the opportunity to complete the European Society for Swallowing Disorders FEES Accreditation Program for Neurogenic and Geriatric Oropharyngeal Dysphagia, earning their certification. The subsequent Scientific Program featured the latest data and advancements in dysphagia research.
