Scientific Interests
Currently, I work as a postdoctoral scientist with a focus on teaching physiology for medical students. I am an electrophysiologist and during my PhD and first Postdoc phase I have studied single neurons and brain circuits in the context of fear and anxiety using the patch-clamp technique in combination with optogenetics, fluorescence microscopy and behavior. In addition to teaching and research, I have a keen interest in science communication and science management.
