The PhD student Samuel Young won the best poster award at the 688. WE-Heraeus-Seminar on 'Physics and Physiology of Motile Cilia' in Bad Honnef in January 2019. Samuel is a member of the Strünker Group working on the (patho)physiology of ion channels in human sperm.

The titel of his poster was 'Deafness-infertility syndrome: a model to unravel the role of CatSper in human sperm (dys)function'.
