Curriculum vitae I studied Science and Technology at the Federal University of ABC, where I spent four years in the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Physiology, investigating the role of the innate immune response in cardiorenal syndrome type 3 and cardiomyocyte hypertrophy. During this time, I completed a four-month fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, USA (2017), where I studied the role of mitochondria in cardiorenal syndrome type 3. In 2022, I defended my PhD in Biotechnosciences (with honors) at the Federal University of ABC. As part of my doctoral research, I spent a year in Madrid, Spain, examining the cardioprotective role of Klotho in a kidney injury model, with a focus on calcium handling in adult ventricular cardiomyocytes. From 2022 to 2024, I was a postdoctoral fellow at RWTH University Hospital in Aachen, funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, where I studied the role of neutrophils in cardiorenal syndrome. Now, in Prof. Linke's group, I will combine my expertise in immune cell phenotyping with the group's extensive knowledge of titin, aiming to elucidate the role of titin in immune cell differentiation and function.
